would you work as a telemarketer? please help?

I got a job in San Francisco working as a telemarketer, which I really don’t want to do. have you ever tried to convice someone to buy something they really don’t need? The hours suck(4:00-8:30pm mon-fri) plus it’s part-time 24 hours week. I also don’t have a car, so I must take public transportation (bus-$ 1.75 1 way, and Bart 6.20 round-trip) that means I walk out of work, only making 30 bucks a day. It just doesn’t seem like it’s worth paying all that money for nothing. what would you do? 400-600 phone calls in 4 hours? seems like way to many calls.

telemarketing, but you have to have plenty of stamnia…. Its not the best job in the world…. Takes a good talker… Good luck Grant M in Pennsylvania

don’t people leave those telemarketing jobs and go to school for GOOD jobs

LOL…Love the questions…always wondered that myself…how to be a “pain in the arz and get paid for it!” But, then again…don’t be petty…they need a job!
