How do cardio and strength training work together to help lose weight/fat?

I always thought you needed to do more cardio first to lose some weight then start adding strength training to tone up and get rid of that fat overhang. Am i right?

I think no. But don’t count on my opinion. Mix both up. facts: That fat will TURN into muscle. So, you might have bigger muscles. Unless its for your abs. Lose that belly fat first for your abs.
