Track season, should i start training now? How to train for the mile?

Question:

Track season, should i start training now? How to train for the mile?

I had just finished a great cross country season. I asked my coach what I should do off season before track. He told me absolutely nothing, to take a break. I have taken two weeks off training now and I feel completely out of shape. My first track meet will be in 19 days. Should i start training alone even though he told me not to? I want to be GOOD this year. I want to improve my mile time. I want to WIN. What should I do for training?

If u did good in cross country(getting average of 18 minutes on your 5K), you should practice by doing 3 miles for practice and sometimes 1.5

How old should a horse be to start training?

Question:

How old should a horse be to start training?

I am looking at a very nice palomino foal. He will be 1 this May. How old should he be before I start training him for trail riding? When should I start? How much should it cost me? What do you recommend me doing? I have never trained a horse, but I do have a lot of experience with horses.

What should I do if I’m victim of a telemarketing scam?

Question:

What should I do if I’m victim of a telemarketing scam?

So I received a call a couple of days ago, the lady on the phone was saying that I had a suscription for some magazines. She knew everything a bout me, my name, my address, and she said they already have my visa card number (she knew the first digit) and she was trying to get me to give her again my card number for “verification purposes.” I didnt give it to her, and I hanged up.
Should I be worried about something? Should I alert my bank? or what should I do?

You should check your Visa and other cards to make sure there are no unauthorized charges. But I don’t think you should worry too much; it sounds like they don’t have enough info to actually rip you off. She probably just guessed the first digit, since in most cases it’s 4 or 5.
