State expands regulations over telemarketing

ALBANY — The state’s Do Not Call law has been expanded to tighten rules over “robo-calls” by restricting unsolicited telemarketing calls to 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and requiring telemarketers to disclose at the outset of the call what they are selling.
