Is Guitar Center going to phase out commission sales, or at least testing the idea?

I’ve heard they may end up paying salespeople based on “store performance” over “individual performance,” and, that they may be phasing out “commissioned” sales altogether.

I worked at a Guitar Center for several years and they went back and forth between individual commissioned sales and department performance (group commission). I noticed customer service went down when individual commission was gone. People just weren’t hustling. Now that I’m a customer and not an employee, I would rather they stick will individual commissioned sales. Your thoughts?

I guess it depends on how you like getting hung up on, and how pushy you are. Unless you can meet the weekly or monthly quota you will not be a telemarketer for long. My step-son was working at a place for a month and was let go because he didn’t meet his, and he is good at sales.

You only need to do some research as to which companies are accepting home based call centers, apply with them and then make the necessary arrangement for your calls and payment scheme.

If you want a home based business that is financially rewarding with a meager capital then go for a home based call center business. It may seem complicated at first but you will get the hang of it in a few months of doing calls. In a home based call center business, you are paid monthly but you also get commissions for sales.
