Do you consuder it rude to hang up on a telemarketer calling you?

Usually before they can even get out ten words i say “i’m not interested” and i abruptly hang up the phone.

Is this rude? I mean, it’s not like telemarketers are real people….

a persistant telemarketer from calling me on my cell phone? i said thanks but no thanks and hung up,he called me again ,i shut my phone off and deleted the phone number.

instead of saying “hello”, just lay on any key until they hang up.

Is there any way to block a number from ever calling you when it isn’t a telemarketer?

I keep getting calls from a person I no longer speak to and would like it if I could block their number from calling me.

there should be a setting on your cell phone where you can block numbers from calling you. If you can post what model your cell phone is, then maybe I can help more.

You could also call your service provider and ask them to block a # from calling you.

If its a house phone, you could try one of those caller id things.
