How do I stop a telemarketer from calling several times a day?
I have called the company back to ask them to take me off their list and they continue to call several times each day.

Pick up the phone when they call and ask them to hold on a minute. Then go about your business while the phone is off the hook. Keep doing this and they’ll get sick of it. Or maybe blow a whistle really loud into the phone every time you answer.

Are you getting calls on a land line? If so, check the customer assistance pages of your telephone book. Mine is in the front. I found a code I could punch in and it blocks the last incoming call number. It worked wonders in my house! Maybe your company offers something similar. If you can’t find it in the book, call you company and ask if they have a similar service. Or you could check the phone company website. I hope this helps you in some way!
If you are on the Do not call list file a complaint.
Do a google search on how to do that.
well im not sure but i heard on tv that when they call you all the time thats signs of harrassment and you my be able to sue

Since, you have information on the company, ask the next caller their name.
Now, inform them that you have contacted the company, several times, and you are on a no call list.
Try telling them the following that you are going to inform the following groups of the continual harassment you have received from this company and that you have requested repeatedly to be taken off of their no call list – Phone Company ( block the number or try to find out your options ), Better Business Bureau ( do a complaint against the company ), State Attorney General ( they maybe able to give you advice and take your information on what is happening ) and a lawyer ( doubt if you will have to on that one).

Ask the representative on the other end for their full name SS# and date of birth in order for you to verify their identity also inform them that this call is being recorded on advice from your attorney.
I did this to a couple of them and they never tried to call me again.
Make sure you’re on the state and federal do-not-call lists. There are a lot of different laws that apply to different categories of callers and there can be substantial penalties to a company that continues to call you if you’re on the DNC list. Log any calls and report them if they keep bugging you.
